An early childhood education that develops the essential skills, knowledge and dispositions for confidence and success in school and life.

Our Early Learning Centre (ELC) welcomes children from 3 years of age up to the age of 5. As an early learner at Immanuel, your child is offered every opportunity to grow into a resilient and happy child. The quality of our ELC has been recognised by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) who rated our centre as ‘Exceeding the National Quality Standard’ in all areas.

Our ELC program is underpinned by the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (IB PYP) and the National Early Years Learning Framework, ‘Belonging, Being, Becoming’. Our program is specifically designed to provide outstanding learning opportunities, with a particular emphasis on play-based learning and the development of communication, social and emotional development skills.

The Centre is open from 7:30am – 6.00pm, 48 weeks of the year and is a purpose built facility designed to enhance learning for our youngest children.  Eligible families are able to claim Child Care Subsidy (CCS).

We believe children learn best when they have a sense of belonging. Our educators strive to provide a nurturing environment where all children are eager to attend; they feel safe, willing to take risks, share their thinking, ponder aloud and challenge themselves.

Fostering a love of learning.

We strive to stimulate each child’s imagination, creativity and decision-making skills, alongside developing crucial early language and numeracy skills. We nurture our students’ individual strengths, foster their love of learning and encourage their wonderings to flourish. With this in mind, educators provide a balance between a play-based and a structured learning environment which incorporates a holistic approach, supporting each individual’s social, emotional, physical, spiritual and cognitive potential.
